Learn about a wide range of dry and low-water composting toilets options and plant-based ecological wastewater systems. See three types of eco-toilets successfully in use in Baja. Make a urine-diverting or combined composting toilet with a barrel!Carol Steinfeld, author of The Composting Toilet System Book, Liquid Gold: The Lore & Logic of Using Urine to Grow Plants, and Reusing the Resource: Adventures in Ecological Wastewater Recycling, will provide an overview of plant-based ecological wastewater recycling options and simple systems you can make and install. She has worked on systems in the Loreto BCS area for three years.
